The stories I didn't write

School on TV in Malaysia

(Pitched on Feb. 24, 2011)
A Malaysian TV channel, called “Tutor TV” teaches middle school children math and science using annimated characters. The program, which is broadcast 24 hours a day in Malaysia by the TV chain Astro, was launched recently. Tutor TV clearly explains how to solve problems in multiple choice questions using step-by-step reasoning – and it’s fun to watch. I think this is an innovative idea that could also be tried in other countries, because kids everywhere like to watch tv and especially cartoons.
