The stories I didn't write

A Phnom Penh mosque is facing demolishion

(Pitched on Dec. 26, 2010) A Cambodian capital’s mosque may be demolished because it sits on the shore of the city’s lake, which is currently being filled in to make room for redevelopment. The mosque has historic significance, since it is one of the few Islamic houses of worship to survive the Khmer Rouge. It was actually used as a fortress during the 1970s.
( I think the most was demolished in the end, and I’m not sure if a new one was built in its place..)
